Thursday, August 30th was the 2nd Annual Seymour Duncan Benefit Concert for Notes for Notes. Los Lobos, Joe Bonamassa and Notes for Notes students played to a packed house at the Lobero Theater. For more on this event, click here!
Also, on September 1st, New Noise, Mutiny Studios, The SB Independent, KCSB, Gardens and Villa and Muddy Waters Cafe came togther to make magic happen! The parking lot benind Muddy Waters was transformed into a music festival... The first ever MUDDFEST, a benefit for the coffee shop and all ages venue bearing its name! The event featured performances by Gardens and Villa, Saint Anne's Place, Dante Elephante, Hesse, Indian Trading Furs, Little Indian and many more... The event also was made complete by pop-up shops from Warbler Records, a massage station, beer garden and fantastic food truck grub! The event raised over $5,000 to go towards much-needed improvements to Muddy Waters. A HUGE thank you to everyone who made this event possible!
